Smart Label (Pvt) Ltd is a renowned woven label supplier in Sri Lanka, and its success has led to the expansion of its business in to multiple industries. As a result, a new group of companies was formed, called Smart Global Products & Services Private Limited, which encompasses pharmaceuticals, spices, uniforms, caps, hats, promotional t-shirts, and coconut oil under different brands and company names.

In this profile, we will focus on two of our brands: VC Ceylon and DOM, which specialize in spices and coconut oil, respectively. VC Ceylon is known for its premium quality spices, which are native to Sri Lanka, a small island that is famous for its spices despite the abundance of countries that supply spices in large quantities. True Cinnamon, high piperine black pepper, clove, milky cashew, and the tastiest tea are among the most famous spices in the world, and they are all produced under the VC Ceylon brand.

DOM, on the other hand, is the brand for Dankotuwa Oil Mill’s coconut oil. The mill was initially known as Christopher Oil Mill and was established in 1970 by the Fernandopulle family’s second generation. The mill adhered to international standards and supplied coconut oil to Unilever Sri Lanka for over two decades. In 2005, the third generation of the Fernandopulle family decided to expand their reach to local general trade and modern trade while maintaining the same high standards, and the mill was rebranded as DOM. With the establishment of Smart Global in 2018, DOM become a part of the company and began to reach global markets.
